The present study aimed to examine the effect of practice variability with a differential learning approach on the acquisition of forehand skills in table tennis among female players. To this end, 26 female participants aged 9 to 12 years from a sports club in Qazvin were selected for the study and took part in training sessions and tests. The first group (experimental) received instruction based on the differential learning approach with 13 participants, while the control group followed the traditional teaching approach with 13 participants. A forehand test was recorded as a pre-test for both groups. Then, the training protocol was implemented over eight sessions, and after completing the forehand test, their scores were recorded as a post-test.The results of the present study showed that both linear and differential training methods had a significant impact on the forehand skills of female table tennis players. However, the effects of the differential training method were greater than those of the linear method.
