This study aims to compare postural stability between women with regular yoga experience and women without yoga experience during both yoga-specific and non-specific motor tasks. It also seeks to determine whether the effects of long-term yoga practice on postural control are task-specific or transferable to other balance-related activities. A total of 34 healthy women aged 25–50 years will participate in the study, including 17 women with at least two years of regular yoga practice and 17 women with no history of yoga practice. After providing written informed consent and completing a demographic and health questionnaire, participants will perform three yoga balance postures (Tree Pose, Warrior III, and Half Moon Pose), the Y-Balance Test, and the Single-Leg Stance Test. Each assessment session will last approximately 45–60 minutes. This is an observational study involving no therapeutic intervention, and no significant risks are anticipated beyond mild temporary fatigue associated with balance testing. The findings may improve understanding of the effects of yoga training on postural stability and provide evidence for designing more effective balance training and fall-prevention programs in healthy adults.
