This study aims to identify the dimensions of an aging-transcendence model based on the lived experiences of active older adults, using the Share-Giving approach. Given that most aging research has focused on the challenges of this life stage, there is a growing need to address aspects of growth, meaning-making, and transcendence in later life. The Share-Giving approach, with its attitudinal, behavioral, and relational components, provides an appropriate framework for explaining the “worldview transcendence” dimension of transcendental aging.

This research employs a qualitative methodology using grounded theory. Participants will include active older adults over the age of 60, selected through purposive sampling, and data will be collected through semi-structured interviews. Data will be analyzed through open, axial, and selective coding to extract the dimensions and components of the transcendental aging model. Findings are expected to contribute to developing a culturally grounded framework that promotes quality of life and spiritual growth among older adults in the Iranian context.
