Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers among women and has wide-ranging physical, psychological, and social consequences. Despite advances in medical treatments, many women face serious challenges in returning to normal social life after recovery. Social reintegration refers to the process through which an individual rebuilds social relationships, roles, and identity after illness, enabling an active presence in society. This study employs a qualitative approach using thematic analysis to explore the process of social reintegration among women recovered from breast cancer and to identify its barriers, facilitators, and effective strategies. The research will be conducted from December 2025 to March 2026 in Tehran, at locations agreed upon by participants, such as support centers or sites designated by the researcher. Participants will include women who have recovered from breast cancer and reside in Tehran. They will be selected purposefully from hospitals and support organizations such as the Behnam Daheshpour Charity. Data will be collected through semi-structured interviews lasting approximately 45–60 minutes and analyzed until theoretical saturation is reached. Inclusion criteria are being female, having completed breast cancer treatment at least six months earlier, living in Tehran, and willingness to participate voluntarily. Exclusion criteria include withdrawal from participation at any stage or the emergence of physical or psychological conditions that prevent further cooperation.
