The present study aims to design a marital complementarity model based on a participatory approach that is appropriate to the Iranian-Islamic context, and then, by teaching the designed model, examine its effectiveness on vitality and a sense of mutual understanding in life.

This research is applied in terms of its purpose and mixed qualitative and quantitative in terms of methodology. The qualitative part uses a fundamental method and semi-structured interviews with married men and women who meet the criteria for entering the research, which will be selected in a purposeful manner. By analyzing these interviews and analyzing the text of the contributions, the marital complementarity model will be developed with investment. In the quantitative part, a semi-experimental design with a pre-test-post-test design with experimental and control groups will be used, and the participants will include all couples referring to the counseling centers of Kermanshah in 1404, and a sample of 10 couples (20 people) will be selected through purposeful sampling.
