Introduction
Attention to the opposite sex begins in adolescence, but according to Erikson's theory, intimacy versus isolation is a psychological conflict in early adulthood. If this intimacy is not realized, young people will feel lonely and withdrawn. If one fails to create or maintain this intimacy, one is exposed to loneliness. In the sense that he will be dissatisfied with his current social relations because of the distance he has from desirable relations. The loneliness that follows the loss of intimate relationships is intense.

Women aged 25 to 40 living in the cities of Tehran and Karaj will be examined.
