The development of a Quranic culture among university students requires comprehensive planning, motivation, education, and provision of appropriate resources so that the Quran can serve as a scientific, ethical, and spiritual guide in their lives. This study focuses specifically on female dormitory students at Allameh Tabataba’i University and aims to assess their level of engagement with the Quran—both in terms of daily recitation and understanding of its verses—using interviews and questionnaires. The findings can serve as a strategic and operational document for the university’s cultural and student affairs departments. While highlighting the benefits of Quran recitation—such as strengthening faith, improving individual and social ethics, linking science and religion, enhancing analytical skills, balancing academic and spiritual life, preserving identity, and addressing psychological and social challenges—the study also identifies key obstacles, including lack of time, insufficient interpretative resources, unsuitable dormitory environments, and emotional stress. Accordingly, the proposed solutions include regular scheduling, improved facilities, creating spiritual spaces, engaging educational workshops, psychological support, awareness campaigns, motivational activities like competitions, and fostering collective participation through study groups and online networks.
