The thesis titled "An Investigation into the Causes and Motivations of Iranian Teenage Girls' Fandom of BTS in Tehran" analyzes the factors that have attracted Iranian teenage girls to this Korean music group. The Korean Wave, or Hallyu, began promoting South Korean culture and media productions in the late 1990s and reached its peak in subsequent years with the expansion of K-pop. BTS, as a prominent representative of this wave, has achieved global success. In Iran, the popularity of this culture started with the broadcast of Korean dramas and has dramatically increased in recent years. Korean pop music is recognized as a tool for expressing identity and social interaction among teenagers. Additionally, the influence of social networks and the internet in promoting Korean music, especially through direct engagement with audiences, is significant. This research aims to examine the factors influencing teenage girls' inclination toward BTS, using a data-driven theoretical approach.
