Adolescence is a sensitive and challenging period in human life that is accompanied by rapid physiological, emotional, cognitive, and social changes. These changes often make adolescents vulnerable to high levels of stress (Ozdemir et al., 2016). Developing self-regulation skills helps students manage their emotions and behaviors, reduces impulsivity, and improves classroom behavior. (Korink, 2021). The aim of the present study is to develop and validate an emotional self-regulation training package based on the ACT model and to examine its effectiveness on academic resilience, social adjustment, and psychological flexibility of secondary school students. The statistical population at this stage will consist of second-year secondary school students from one of the educational districts of Tehran who are studying in 1404-05. The method of the present study is mixed. In the qualitative part, an emotional self-regulation training package based on the ACT model will be designed and provided to experts for validation. Then, in the quantitative part, an experimental method (pretest-posttest design with a control group and random assignment) will be used. Considering the criteria for entering the study, an appropriate number of people will be selected and questionnaires will be completed. Then, the experimental group will undergo emotional self-regulation training based on the ACT model, while the control group will not receive any training. At the end of the training, a post-test will be taken from the participants of both groups. Conclusion: After conducting the research, the effectiveness will be measured by conducting statistical analysis.
