The present study aims to investigate the psychometric properties of the Digital Parenting Awareness Scale (DPAS) among Iranian elementary school students' parents. In the current era where digital technology has become an inseparable part of children's lives, parents' role in managing the use of these technologies has gained special importance. This methodological study will involve a sample of 250 parents of elementary school students in the 2024-2025 academic year, selected through convenience sampling. The main research instrument is the Digital Parenting Awareness Scale, which after translation and back-translation, its psychometric properties will be examined using confirmatory factor analysis, reliability methods (Cronbach's alpha, McDonald's omega, and composite reliability), and validity (convergent and divergent). The research findings can contribute to providing a valid instrument for measuring digital parenting awareness in Iranian society and pave the way for educational and preventive interventions in this field.
