Transformations in religiosity have gained momentum over the past century across the globe. These changes, which began in the Western-Christian world during the Renaissance and the Age of Enlightenment, have now permeated most societies and affected various aspects of human life. Although there are differing opinions regarding the process of secularization in societies and whether this experience is definitive or probable in all cultures, it can at least be said that the practical dimensions of religiosity have been declining in many countries, including Iran. This decline in the practical aspects of religiosity does not necessarily mean that people affiliated with different religions around the world are abandoning their faith. Recent surveys indicate that the practical dimensions of religiosity in Iran are decreasing; however, despite research on generational changes, many aspects of this phenomenon remain inadequately understood.
Furthermore, considering the significant role of youth in shaping the future of the country, a deep understanding of the changes and transformations, as well as the religious attitudes and beliefs of this generation, is of particular importance.
