Leukemia is the most common childhood cancer, and with the advancement of modern treatment methods, the lifespan of these patients has increased. However, self-care units in hospitals are more focused on the psychological self-care of adults, and the psychological self-care of children has been overlooked. Therefore, the aim of the present study is to develop a technological package to cover the gaps between the treatment of these children and to reduce the caregiving burden and improve the coping strategies of these children.
The research method will be exploratory (qualitative-quantitative), and the intervention mapping method will be used to develop the package. In the quantitative part, two qualitative stages will be conducted, including a scoping review of relevant literature and semi-structured interviews, and the data will be analyzed using thematic analysis. In the quantitative stage, a multiple baseline single-case design will be used, and finally, the validity of the developed package will be measured using the Lawshe's CVR and CVI methods.
