The main goal: Compilation and validation of pre-marriage counseling educational package based on the approach of schema mentalities and its effectiveness on correcting communication beliefs and emotional self-regulation of people on the verge of marriage.
Method: The current research is applied in terms of purpose and mixed in three stages: 1- Development of pre-marriage counseling training package based on the schematic mentalities approach 2- Checking the validity of the content of the developed package 3- The effectiveness of this training package on correcting communication beliefs And the emotional self-regulation of people will take place on the eve of marriage.
Qualitative part of the research: In the first step, the target community will be the reference books and articles written in the past 25 years in the field of premarital counseling and schema approach and schema mentalities. In order to familiarize with the process of premarital counseling and the approach of schematic mentalities, using purposeful sampling, a number of them will be selected as a sample based on their relevance to the problem and research objectives and the basis for studying and analyzing information.
The quantitative part of the research is a semi-experimental research design with pre-test - post-test with an unequal control group and the covariance statistical method is used.
Community:
It includes people referring to clinics and counseling centers in Tehran who are applying for marriage in the first half of 1403.

15 couples in the experimental group and 15 couples in the control group
