Introduction:Divorce always has consequences for families and society. This issue becomes more pronounced when these families have children. According to information from the Statistical Center of Iran, the number of registered marriages in the year 1400 was 570,618, while the number of registered divorces was 203,904. Consequently, a large population of children of divorce has been added to society. Therefore, the rights and responsibilities of parenthood after divorce is one of the most controversial areas of national and international law. Three decades of research on divorce have made it clear that children have the best outcomes post-divorce when they have meaningful and regular relationships with both parents and are shielded from harmful parental conflicts. This approach to parenting is known as co-parenting, where both parents share the responsibility of raising their children.

Objective: The main objective of this research is to provide an assessment model for evaluating co-parenting in spouses seeking divorce.

Theoretical Framework:This study draws on social work and psychology theories, using both perspectives to elaborate on the research topic.

Methodology:The present research employs a sequential mixed-methods approach, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative methods.
