MS is a chronic inflammatory and autoimmune disease related to the central nervous system. It usually affects young adults and persists throughout life, resulting in significant social consequences and economic costs. Over time, this disease leads to progressive disability and the involvement of motor, sensory, vision and autonomic systems. Genetic sensitivity and some environmental factors play an important role in the formation of MS. Lesions called plaques are created in this disease. The intensity and range of symptoms vary depending on the load of the lesion, the location and the degree of tissue damage, so it may vary from one patient to another. Weakness, fatigue, bladder problems, muscle spasms, dizziness, sensory issues such as diplopia, vision abnormalities, and depression are common symptoms reported by people with MS.

The prevalence of MS in Iran is high and squatting is one of the most frequent movement patterns during daily activities. Taking into account the above-mentioned issues and noting that so far no study has been done to investigate the kinetics and kinematics of this movement in people with MS, our goal is to investigate the kinetics and kinematics of the squat in people with MS.
