One of the most important issues that people with mental disabilities struggle with is the occurrence of balance and movement disorders, which are the main cause of their falls and, ultimately, the limitation of their independence in performing daily activities (P. Giagazoglou et al., 2013). .

In addition, according to Hall et al. (Hall & Thomas, 2008), the inactive lifestyle of these people causes them to have less endurance, strength and balance than people without disabilities. These factors exacerbated their imbalance and movement disorders, and considering that the ability to walk is an undeniable part of independent life, it is very important to know and investigate the methods of strengthening balance and, therefore, improving the ability to walk independently of people with mental disabilities. isIn this research, our goal is to investigate the relationship between the strength, endurance and flexibility of selected muscles with walking kinematics and balance in people with mental disabilities by using simple tests. One of the important aspects of this issue is that people with mental disabilities, like other people, have different capacities and their strength, endurance and muscle flexibility are different. Therefore, the findings of this research can help trainers and experts to design more effective and appropriate training programs by considering the individual characteristics of each person and obtain better results in a shorter period of time
