Considering the increasing number of elderly people and their numerous problems, the necessity of examining the quality of life of the elderly has become doubly important. Surveys of statistical and demographic indicators and tools also indicate the increasing trend of this phenomenon in Iran. With the improvement of living conditions and the improvement of the level of health care, the average life expectancy and life expectancy of this group is increasing in different societies. But when people reach this age, they are faced with many problems and diseases such as diabetes, arthritis, cardiovascular diseases and disabilities resulting from them.
One of the biggest problems of the elderly is the ability to maintain balance and prevent falls, because it can have serious consequences such as broken bones or serious injuries in the lower limbs, psychological problems such as depression, and also heavy treatment costs for them.
Physical activity is currently one of the most influential factors determining health, which also has the greatest impact. In addition, exercise can partially reverse the effects of aging on physiological functions and preserve functional reserve among the elderly.
Among these, there are different training methods that often include strength, endurance, balance and cognitive training, and among the training protocols for the elderly, Otago, Lafiska, Fall Proof, etc. training programs can be mentioned, which are used and are exploited.
