In Iran, the field of curriculum is more than a hundred years old and has always faced challenges; Including the incompatibility of students' expectations, needs, and interests with the official life system, although this issue has been more or less in different periods. But research shows that the curriculum in Iran is associated with a gap in expectations. If the problem of the perception of school activists in facing the curriculum discourse is solved and we have a close and integrated view of the curriculum and the goal and vision are understandable for everyone and a peak is available, not far from the expectation, from the challenges in The scope of the curriculum is reduced.

Therefore, the aim of the current research is to investigate the thoughts and perceptions of teachers and students about the formal and informal curriculum and to identify the gap between perceptions and express the differences. Based on the results of this research, it is possible to get a more accurate understanding of the complexities and issues in Iran's curriculum, which can provide a platform in line with correct policy making for better education.
