Introduction: Considering the importance of rowing as a medal-winning field, the trustees of this field are trying to improve the performance and increase the probability of medal-winning by using suitable training facilities and conditions. The purpose of this research is to explain the effect of a supplement course of chamomile on inflammatory indicators after a rowing competition in elite female rowers. Method: To carry out this semi-experimental and practical research, which is carried out with a pre-test-post-test design and follow-up with an experimental group and a control group, 20 women rowers present in Tehran clubs in a targeted manner. They are selected and randomly divided into two groups: placebo and supplement. In the following and before starting the protocol, the subjects of the experimental group will take 500 mg gelatin capsules of chamomile extract twice a day for 4 weeks, and the other group will take a placebo. Lungs are measured using a spirometer, aerobic capacity using the arm kerring, and anaerobic capacity using wingate. On the next day, all the subjects participated in a canoeing race, and after the race, the measurement was done again. Finally, descriptive statistics, Shapiro-Wilk tests, analysis of variance with repeated measures and Tukey's follow-up are used for the statistical analysis of the data. Discussion: Research shows the antioxidant properties of chamomile. Conclusion: It is hoped that the results of the research will provide coaches and experts with a clear perspective to improve the performance of rowers.
