Defects in executive functions such as behavior regulation skills (inhibition, attention transfer, emotion control) and metacognitive skills (planning, organizing materials, monitoring, working memory, initiation) and weakness in reading, writing and mathematics are common symptoms of learning disorder. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of linguistic games on selective attention and response inhibition in students with reading learning disorders. The current research is a semi-experimental one with a control group in terms of its practical purpose and in terms of the method of data collection. The statistical population of the present study includes second grade elementary students of Semnan city in the academic year 1402-1403. 20 students suffering from reading learning disorder were selected using Raven IQ test and teacher's academic progress report and randomly assigned to two groups of 10 people. The experimental group will undergo group intervention during 10 sessions of 45 minutes. Research tools include Raven's intelligence test, simple Stroop test, d2 selective attention test.
