Considering the nature of football, it can be said that the players of this field are exposed to collisions and injuries more than other fields. which results in an activity ban after any damage. Due to the dynamic interaction of the joints with each other, the injury rate of the lower limb is higher than the upper limb in this sport, and the highest share is related to the ankle.

Ankle sprains account for the largest share of ankle injuries in different conditions, and the share of the ATFL ligament is greater than other ligaments. Due to the nature of the ankle joint, which is prone to further damage after one sprain, it exposes the athlete to chronic ankle instability.

The proprioceptive system is a vital sensory component for postural control. According to the clarification of past epidemiological data, it can be said that chronic ankle instability can systematically affect other joints. One of the methods and techniques that can help to improve the proprioceptive system and sense of active and inactive status of people is reactive neuromuscular exercises.

Considering the gap in research regarding the effect of reactive neuromuscular exercises on proprioception and strength in football players, the researcher is looking for an answer to the question of whether reactive neuromuscular exercises affect proprioception of lower limb joints and strength in soccer players. Does it have an effect on those who have ankle instability?
