The purpose of this research is The mediation role of parent's rejection and acceptance in the relationship between emotional schemas and attachment styles with the maternal caregiving quality and the parent child relationship in Iranian Culture

Method: The research will be conducted using correlational method using structural equations. At least 200 mothers with children under 15 years of age will be selected, sampling will be done using the available method.

Data collection will be carried out using the Maternal Care Quality Assessment Scale (Ghanbari et al., 2012), the Leahy Emotional Schema Scale (2002), the Adult Attachment Questionnaire (Collins & Reid, 1990), and the Parental Acceptance and Rejection Questionnaire (PARQ) (Rohner, 1998).

Findings: The results will be used to explain the research model and statistical analyses will be performed using SPSS and AMOS software.

Conclusion: The results will be useful for clinical interventions and improving the quality of parent-child relationships by mental health professionals.
