This study aims to develop and validate a neurodevelopmental enrichment program and examine its effectiveness on sensory sensitivity and creative thinking in gifted students. Gifted children possess unique cognitive, social, and emotional traits, and their development is significantly influenced by neurodevelopmental factors. Standard educational programs often fail to meet their needs, requiring enriched environments and specialized programs.







The research employs a mixed-methods approach (qualitative-quantitative). In the qualitative phase, key components of the enrichment program are identified through literature review and expert interviews. The quantitative phase follows a quasi-experimental design (pre-test, post-test, and follow-up) to assess the program’s impact on sensory sensitivity and creative thinking. The sample includes 30 gifted students (aged 7–10), randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. Measurement tools include the Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking, Dunn’s Sensory Profile, and the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children.







Findings from this study can assist educational policymakers and teachers in creating more effective learning environments for gifted children. There is a lack of comprehensive research on neurodevelopmental enrichment programs for gifted students in Iran, and this study aims to address this gap, providing a structured and evidence-based approach to enhancing their cognitive and sensory development.
